Open Studio 4/10

Today I was joined by Sejal and her very interesting (and very large) painting project. Sejal is developing a painting that expresses the cosmology she learned about in Guatemala.

And here a larger version of the actual paintings. The tree is representative of the axis mundi that connects this world and the spirit world. Each direction is representative of the different elements and has an associated color. To find out more be sure to talk to Sejal!
